Hi everyone,

Hopefully everyone has been having a great end to an awesome semester. Here are a couple of updates for you guys:

1. Tournaments - Thank you to all of those who came out and participated in the TAC tournaments! Congratulations to our winners! You will receive prizes during the end-of-semester party; see details below.

2. End-of-Semester Party - We will be having our end-of-semester party on Monday, April 30th, at 3:30pm on Memorial Glade. Food and drinks will be provided. We will be awarding trophies and other prizes to tournament winners, as well as handing out t-shirts to members who have played six (6) Round Robin matches, so please be sure to attend!

3. Round Robin deadline - The deadline to play your six (6) RR matches to qualify for a t-shirt is this Saturday, April 28th. Please make sure you play your matches by midnight of Saturday so we can reward you with a t-shirt at the End-of-Semester Party!

4. Officer Applications - Interested in becoming an officer next semester? We are still accepting officer applications for next semester through Friday, April 27th, 11:59PM. Being an officer for Tennis at Cal is a great way to practice leadership skills and interact with lots of people! If you are interested, please review the officer guidelines and fill out the officer application by following the link and email us at tac@tennisatcal.com. As part of the application process, we will contact you for a casual, half-hour interview scheduled during the first half of dead week. Please apply today for officership if you are interested in improving the club and reaching out to the tennis community at Cal!

Hi Everyone! Our LAST social event in this semester is coming up this Friday April 20th! This time, join us and watch CAL VS Stanford Men's tennis!! Hey everybody!

The TAC Spring 2012 Singles tournament will be happening next weekend (April 14th-15th)! I hope you all have been getting your tennis in. To participate, you must be a round robin member, and you will need to have played and logged at least 1 round robin match.

Signups are available at the following link: Signup: Here!. The deadline for the signups is next Wednesday at midnight, April 11th.

Hey everybody, I'm sorry to announce that the doubles tournament scheduled for this weekend is postponed due to the extremely high chance of rain this weekend.

We know that many of you have activities other than tennis, and we would not like to have you commit to a tournament this weekend when the rain is highly likely.

As a result, the doubles tournament will be postponed to April 7th-8th (the weekend after spring break), and the singles tournament will be scheduled for April 14th-15th-- remember you need to have played 1 round robin match for the singles tournament.

I will continue to allow sign-ups for the doubles tournament until April 1st. If you have signed up, but cannot make it to the doubles tournament scheduled, please send an email.

Hello everyone! Our March Social (Marth 9th): BOARD GAME NIGHT is Coming Up!! We have Wii, Clue, Settler of Catan and MORE!!!More details will be announced soon! Come JOIN us!!!!YOU WILL HAVE A LOT OF FUN!

Welcome back everyone!

Our first general meeting for all members is scheduled for 7pm on Thursday, January 26 in 60 Evans. At our GM you will be able to meet the officers, learn all about our club, and sign up for membership.

We will be tabling on weekdays from 10-2 up until February 3. You can pick up and drop off applications to the officers at the table. The membership for deadline is March 12.



Practice sign-ups start Sundays at 9:00pm.
Practice times this semester:

General: Tuesday 5-7pm (Hearst)
General: Wednesday 7-9pm (Hearst)
Drill: Saturday 3-4pm (Hearst)
General: Saturday 4-6pm (Hearst)


The first practice will be Saturday January 28 at 3 at Channing. We'll play until it gets dark. This will be an open practice in that there are no sign-ups and everyone is encouraged to attend for all or any part of the practice. Then, starting the following week, you will need to sign up online for practices.
